Terms of service
Last updated 17 September 2026
These terms govern the use of Storelets by merchants who open a store and by customers who buy from those stores.
The service
Storelets provides storefront hosting, a checkout, order management and, when connected, messaging with customers through third-party channels. Merchants own their products, content and customer relationships. Storelets is not a party to the sale between a merchant and a customer and does not hold customer funds; payments settle with the merchant's payment provider.
Merchant responsibilities
Sell only what you may legally sell, describe it truthfully, honour the orders you accept, protect your customers' data, and follow the terms of every channel you connect (Meta, WhatsApp, Paystack). Stores that scam customers, sell prohibited goods or send unsolicited messages are suspended.
Beta
During the private beta the service is provided free of charge and without a service-level guarantee. We may change or remove features and will give notice before pricing applies.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Storelets is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to a merchant is limited to the fees paid in the preceding three months.
